Foster Homes Needed
At this time Rice County does not have an animal shelter. The current city pounds become overcrowded quickly, leaving little time to find families to adopt the animals. Therefore, we are seeking responsible, loving homes to foster cats and dogs until forever homes are found for adoptable pets.
It is necessary to file an Application for Kansas Foster Home Shelter License with the Kansas Animal Health Department and submit a $10.00 fee. All applicants will be interviewed by a representative of Friends of Animals Rice County.
The Group Foster Home License was approved and we can start taking Foster applications.
